The Comeback is Here

Man oh man, this picture hits me right in the feels.

After 2 years of illness and injury, plus COVID, and now a month out of surgery where my recovery literally is “sit and heal”, this picture defines how I have felt for a long time.
And our modern, “convenient” world makes is SO easy to do this. Don’t want to cook? Order in. Don’t want to go grocery shop? Have it delivered. Don’t want to go to the gym and exercise? You work hard- you deserve a rest.
Why don’t you watch this new series that just came out? There’s only 10 episodes.
Oh, you can eat that- it’s diet/sugar free/fat free/low calorie!
Get your happiness from the dopamine hits from your social media addiction…. It’s fine!

I could go on and on, but you get the point.

I almost weigh as much as I did when I started my weight loss journey 12 years ago and lost 125 pounds.
That is so very frustrating to me.

And as I am creeping up on 45 years old, it’s a harder realization to come to.

BUT, I’m still here for a reason. And the LORD has allowed me to go through these troublesome times for many reasons, one being that it’s time to take a hold of my health and wellness again, so that I can be physically strong and mentally sharp for whatever He has planned for me.

As I posted earlier- the comeback is always greater then the setback!

The next few months are going to be incredible…. And I’m so excited for it.
Thanks for coming on the ride with me!

Let’s GO!
