I had an “a-ha” moment this afternoon!

I had just gotten home with the kids, and was in our bedroom looking out into the backyard. I said to myself, “I can’t wait until I can sit out there with my laptop and work in a few weeks!”
School will be done, and I will officially be full time at Kenmore Baptist Church. No more punching a clock, no more struggling through getting 5 hours of sleep a night…. Freedom to use the creativity, passions and gifts the Lord has given me for helping build His Kingdom!

After that thought…. I said outloud, “A-ha!”

Back in 2017- about when this picture was taken- I had just began my life post-divorce. I had just launched my life coaching business while working at AT&T full time, and I remember intentionally going outside with my laptop to do some work. I told myself way back then, “Someday, I’ll be able to do this all the time.”
And now…. 7 years later- that time has come!!

Not as I expected it, but certainly as King Jesus planned it.

Not under any of my own doing other then willful obedience, but certainly under the direction of Holy Spirit!

It’s amazing to think that all the things I’ve been passionate about, successful at, and thoroughly enjoy doing throughout my adulthood, I now get to do all the time as a full time pastor!

Friends, God has the BEST plan for your life, I promise you. And I can say that with confidence, because after decades of struggle, frustration, and uncertainty, I am exactly where I’ve always dreamed to be. God created me WITH purpose, blessed me with these gifts ON purpose, and it causes me to live FOR the purpose of helping build the Kingdom of God and help His children come home to Him.

Thank You, ABBA for trusting me with this, fulfilling the desires of my heart, and blessing me more than I could ask, think or imagine!

I am so grateful!
