As 2025 comes to a close, for the first time in a very long time I can say that I’m proud of myself! 😁
The last 8 years of my life have been a fight. 🥊 After I devoted my life to the Lord and ministry, I have fought through illness, injuries, surgeries, depression, weight gain, and toxicity in my body. I watched friendships dissipate, connections lost and there were many internal battles as I searched for how to live out this call on my life from my Master and Commander.

Walking out the will of the Lord ain’t kittens 🐱 and rainbows 🌈 , kids… but His blessings sure are excedent and abundant! ✨

After attending the Band of Brothers Bootcamp in Florida in November of 2024, the Lord lit a fire 🔥 in my belly that consistently burns hotter every single day- and is showing no signs of slowing down! ⚔️🔥

I realized how much I was depending on something to happen TO ME, instead of using my God given talents and blessings to make something happen FOR me. I wasn’t the husband I should have been, I wasn’t the father I should have been. I owe it to my family to provide, protect and develop- how could I do that for them if I didn’t do it for myself?

So, after many ugly crying sessions with King Jesus and fights with myself to get uncomfortable and be who God created me to be- I got to work in 2025.

⚔️First, my goal of being a real estate agent 🏠 that I’ve had for 6 YEARS (‼️) became a reality. ✅
⚔️Next, I got back to learning and got my life insurance license and began my journey into financial coaching 💴 . ✅ (working on my securities license now- should be done by 2/2026!)
⚔️Then, a dream I’ve had for close to 30 years came true- I became a published author. 📖
⚔️Although I have been working on my health diligently over the last 3 years, I wasn’t losing weight, wasn’t gaining strength and I was frustrated. With the help of my incredible wife, we COMPLETELY revolutionized my nutrition, and I stopped putting anything that God didn’t make into my body. I became laser focused at the gym and started working harder than ever before.
I’ve since lost about 55 pounds of fat and gained 15 pounds of muscle. ✅

I’m a better husband, father and pastor, and more confident and focused than ever before. I am able to take care of all God has blessed me with, and am consistently ready for more! Whatever comes my way, Lord, I am ready! 🙌🏼

2025 was a year of LEARNING- and in 2026, I’m dropping the ‘L’- it’s going to be a year of EARNING! God has given the Wheeler family HUGE visions of ministry and worldwide impact, and it all begins 1-1-2026 with the resources that come from all I have been equipped with in 2025.

I am so grateful for ALL OF YOU for being on this journey with me, and look forward to continuing to take ground for the Kingdom together! 🤝

There are no plateaus in life, friends.
You are either moving FORWARD, or you are regressing. And- as my Band of Brothers know- men of God NEVER retreat- we ALWAYS move forward! 🫡
