For the past few weeks I’ve been very quiet on social media, and I’m extremely grateful for it. I needed time to process, to explore, to learn, and to pursue my new calling.

Well, it’s not new; I’m just finally answering God’s call instead of trying to find clever ways around it.

The past few weeks have been quite hectic for me, and I’ve faced some major difficulties because it’s time for me to “level up”. I call it creating the gap; everytime it’s time to grow, ascend and assume greater duties and responsibilities, tough times come to prepare you. The tough times knock you down, beat you up a bit- but when you get up, (YES, you will get up, right?) you have this gap that you move and grow through quickly to get where you are intended to be.

It’s like a race car drafting on a super speedway; in order for a stock car to propel past someone in front of them, they’ve got to tuck their nose in behind their opponent’s bumper so they can draft off of their energy and speed before surging around them at the perfect moment.

And this leveling up for me isn’t just a personal one. It is a spiritual one, which I feel is the greatest calling to receive. God has called me to leadership in His kingdom, and now that I’m taking steps to do so the enemy is pressing in. He knows the two things that get to my heart, confidence and spirit, and he has been using them to get in the way of me hearing God’s calling.

But it’s causing the complete opposite; I’m hearing His voice stronger then ever and my struggles are causing me to increase my faith tenfold. I am truly in a place where only the Lord can provide and I know He will because He has promised He would.

So, I’m grateful for these difficult times, because I know I’m on the right path. I am thankful that God is helping me gain more strength and causing me to flex my faith, because He won’t forsake me.
